New Fall Schedule

Friends have decided to change the start time for Meeting for Worship to 10:00 AM. This is hoped to become the regular time for both in-person and virtual attendance going forward.

The current plan (subject to minor changes) is:

• Dec 7: 10:00 AM – Meeting for Worship at Sunalta Community Hall, Club Room

• Dec 14: 10:00 AM – Advent Meeting for Worship at Deerfoot17 (CommunityWise)

• Dec 21 & 28: 10:00 AM – Meeting for Worship at Sunalta Community Hall, Club Room

• Jan 4, 11, 18, 25: 10:00 AM – Meeting for Worship, location to be determined (January location expected to be confirmed after Dec 14)

Next Meeting for Worship for Business:

• Tue, Jan 20, 2026: 7:00 PM on Zoom

Quakers Embrace Everyone

In the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), people from a variety of backgrounds and beliefs embark together on a spiritual journey. Although their individual beliefs may vary, Quakers share a Testimony of Equality based on the idea of a Divine presence in all people. A testimony is not a belief; it is committed action arising out of spiritual experience that describes the way that Friends testify or bear witness to their beliefs in their daily life.

The Calgary Religious Society of Friends acknowledges that our gatherings take place on Treaty 7 in Southern Alberta in Moh’kins’tsis, named by the Blackfoot, where the Bow River meets the Elbow. Southern Alberta is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta (Districts 5 and 6).

Calgary Monthly Meeting is part of Canadian Yearly Meeting and the Affirming Network of Faith Communities.
